A bill has been submitted before the Nebraska Unicameral that would end the illegal practice of the cops using minors to conduct undercover "compliance checks" on the sale of alcohol and tobacco products. As this newspaper has exposed before, presently the cops are empowered to suborn minors who appear to be older than they are to ENTRAP bartenders and retail clerks into serving them controlled substances. Cops argue that this is a good thing, but critics point out the blatant wrongness of suborning a crime and entrapping a citizen. CLICK HERE
